IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE
Your shell scheme is (usually) an aluminium framed booth hired to you for the duration of the show. Because it is hired to you, it comes with a number of understandable restrictions such as:-
No nailing, No screwing, No painting, No glueing, No bolting and No velcro’ing to the frame itself. Hence the need for Shell-Clad clips!
Your shell scheme is made up of vertical pillars and horizontal beams which “capture” infill panels to create walls. Open sides are defined with facia boards/name boards and, depending on the size of your stand, there may be a ceiling grid for added structure. See shell scheme diagram opposite.
You are not allowed to alter or adjust your shell scheme in any way although you can order “extras” from the show organisers such as a corner store, dividing walls etc. Some shows will remove the facia board upon request but not all. Often this is dictated by the rigidity of the stands around you.
WARNING: shell schemes all look the same but they have subtle differences. Never assume that your shell scheme at Show B will be the same as it was at Show A previously, even if both shows are at the same venue.
No one knows shell schemes better than Shell-Clad. We are here to help so please feel free to call and ask for advice.
Shell-Clad clips
Once we know the format of your stand (typically 3m x 2m with two walls; or 4m x 3m with a 1m x 1m corner store etc) we can advise what fixing clips are required to clad your stand.
